It was indeed a time of refreshing in God’s presence on Sunday March 17th as the Holy Spirit was allowed to move in our presence, creating an atmosphere for healing and restoration particularly for those who have given up hope. It is also a privilege to be able to come before His presence to lift up His name because He alone deserves all the praises.

Pastor J leading us in a series of praise, worship and prayers reiterated that

“Our worship should be constant. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, God is still God and deserves our praises…The troubles in our lives do not determine the goodness of God . All things work together for good (Romans 8:28). God uses our challenges to grow us, especially when He wants to move us to a higher level so we shouldn’t give up on God”.

We also had wonderful and soul-uplifting performances courtesy of the drama department – Limit Breakers, the RGK dance crew and our GX Choir.

The promise for the week was also taken from Isaiah 60:10-11.

“And the sons of strangers shall build up the walls, and their Kings shall minister into thee: for in my wrath I emote there, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee. Therefore, they gate shall be open continually, they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.”

Have a blessed week and remember that God loves you!
